Services of Gratitude

What is a Memorial?

A memorial is a time to reflect, remember, and express gratitude. It honours those whose lives have left a lasting impact on our community and whose generosity continues to strengthen learning and discovery at Western. Through remembrance, we acknowledge the people and stories that have shaped our university. The memorial brings together families, students, faculty and staff in a shared moment of appreciation for lives that inspire curiosity and understanding.

The impact of those we honour continues to resonate through the curiosity of our students, the commitment of our educators, and the community that grows from shared learning. They have helped foster a culture of learning and respect that continues to guide communities at Western forward.

In Gratitude to All Donors Who Made Learning Possible

We honour those who have given the ultimate gift of learning through the body bequeathal program. We thank every donor and their family for the generosity that continues to guide education, research, and care at Western. Over the years, 3640 individuals have made this remarkable contribution, each leaving a lasting impact on the students and educators who learn from them.
